Bo at his best!
Sunday, December 7, 2008 - 9:22 pm - itswits
Bo added an extra song to the end of his show, Working for the MCA. It was microphone stand Bo twirling the microphone stand and strutting his stuff on the stage. For most of us it was the last show of 2008 and I really think Bo tried to make it special for every person in the audience. He called up the daughter of Col Rainey, a man Bo met in Iraq. She came with her friends and they sang backup for Sweet Home Alabama, what fun, their faces were beaming with joy. I will always remember what he said to us toward the end of the show.

"We love you guys so much
So glad you can be a part of this
This is one of our last stops on our tour
We've been doing this song all year for this album
I sure have enjoyed every one of you fans young and older
There is no such thing as old, you're only as old as you feel
But we love everyone of ya and you all mean the world to us and uh
Welcome to a new year
With the new year comes possibilities (he put an emphasis on possibilities)
There is strength in numbers
Sometimes it's alright to be freaky
Sometimes it's alright to be normal
But it's alright just to be alright….
(Laugh)"

Thanks Bo for a wonderful show!

Unbelievable!

This was my sixth show in four weeks and somehow Bo keeps it fresh and full of surprises. We had a great dinner get-together before the show and the concert was just amazing, full of joy.
