Podcast subscription instructions

Podcasting is a great new way of distributing audio or video automatically. When we offer a podcast feed you can subscribe to the feed using podcast software (like Apple iTunes) and any new show episodes will be automatically downloaded to your computer. As the name implies, if you have a portable audio or video player, the files can also be copied to the player.

One important note, and this is a common area of confusion, no iPod or other MP3 player is required. You can listen to the audio or video on your computer just as you would any online file. You may use a device (like an iPod) if you want to take the podcast with you and listen on the go!

If you decide you want to listen or view a show every time it comes out, you might consider a podcasting client. Apple iTunes is free and works on any Mac or PC. When you open iTunes, go to the "Advanced" button at the top and go down to "Subscribe to podcast...". You should then input the following podcast url into the text field: http://www.bobice.com/podcasts/chats.xml
